I have studied, raised, lived with, and admired wild animals for as long as I can remember. As a young boy I was fascinated by stories about animals, especially the ones that were almost too amazing to be true. When I was sculpting Elusive I wanted to give him something of a human posture, a sort of sneaky look. Like he wants you to chase him, knowing full well you possess neither the speed nor the savvy to keep up.

I know wildlife will always be a major part of my work, occasionally even ones that are almost too amazing to be true.
